CBSE Scholarship 2023: Online registrations for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship have started. Eligible girl students studying in CBSE affiliated schools can apply through the official website till 10 October 2023.


CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the application process for Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child. The board has also launched a new portal of the scheme for those students who were awarded it in 2022. Interested and eligible students can register online through the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in.

Girl students will get Rs 500 every month

Online registrations for Single Girl Child Scholarship have started. Eligible girl students studying in CBSE affiliated schools can apply through the official website till 10 October 2023. After registration, schools will verify the applications by October 25. After verification, students will get Rs 500 per month under the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship: How to apply online

Step 1: First of all go to the official website of CBSE cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: On the page, click on the link ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2023 REG’.
Step 3: Now click on the scholarship application link.
Step 4: On the new tab, select the type of application – Fresh or Renewal.
Step 5: Now click on SGC-X Fresh Application or Renewal.
Step 6: Fill the application form, upload documents.
Step 7: Submit the form, and download and take a printout of the form for future reference.

Important notice of CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023

Who can avail the benefit of this scholarship

Only those girl students whose monthly tuition fees in class 10 does not exceed Rs 1,500 per month can apply for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship. There should be 10 percent increase in class 11th and class 12th. The student should be the only child in the family. They should have passed 10th class with 60 percent marks from a CBSE affiliated school and currently studying in 11th class from the same school.
