8th Pay Commission today news: Will the coming time be good for government employees or not. The discussion on this is hot these days. The reason is clear 8th pay commission. For the time being, the government has made it clear that it has no intention of setting up the next pay commission. This is not being considered. But, now the workers union has started protesting about this. He believes that the government will have to make it clear whether the Eighth Pay Commission will be constituted or not. Let us tell you, the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission are applicable from 2016, in which they are getting a minimum salary of Rs 18000 and maximum Rs 56900 on the basis of fitment factor.

8th Pay Commission and old pension demand

All India Defense Employees Federation AIDEF has made it clear that if the government does not restore the 8th Pay Commission and old pension, then the employees can go on strike indefinitely. Central and state employees can jointly participate in this strike. Tell me what is the matter. In fact, in the Monsoon session of Parliament recently, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said that there is no proposal in front of the government to constitute the 8th Pay Commission. However, it was directly taken out that the 8th Pay Commission would not come.

Understand the statement of Minister of State for Finance

What Pankaj Choudhary said was the answer to the question. The question was asked whether the government is considering the formation of the 8th Pay Commission or not? In response, he only said that till now no proposal has come to the government regarding the 8th Pay Commission. He said that the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission were implemented in 2014. Which was implemented in 2016. For government employees, the salary matrix can be reviewed without waiting for a longer period of 10 years.

What is the role of DA?

According to the National Council of JCM, salary revision takes place once in 10 years on the recommendations of the Pay Commission. Dearness Allowance (DA) also has a role in this. Whenever DA exceeds 50 per cent, it is merged with the basic salary of the employees. However, this happens only according to the recommendations of the Pay Commission. It also adds to many other perks. According to JCM Secretary (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra, the government will have to pay dearness allowance and other allowances. However, there is still time for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. If the government backs off from this or some new parameters are adopted, then the central and state employees will go on an indefinite strike.

Will have to wait till the year 2024

The JCM Council Level-2 of the Ministry of Defense and the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh are confident that the Central Government will constitute the 8th Pay Commission on time. There is still time for recommendations. Similarly, the time to implement it is till 2026. Before that we have to wait for the year 2024. That will be the right time, when the situation will be clear what is the intention of the government. The union will also raise the demand only then.

DA/DR set to increase by 4%

More than 48 lakh central government employees and 63 lakh pensioners are relieved that their dearness allowance and dearness relief is going to increase soon. Recently, it has become clear from the data of AICPI that there will be an increase of 4 percent in dearness allowance for July 2022. The Union Cabinet is likely to approve it soon. Central employees are currently getting dearness allowance at the rate of 34 percent under the 7th pay commission. After increasing the allowance by four percent, the rate of DA will reach 38 percent.
