HS Tiwari, General Secretary, All India Accounts and Audit Committee, told Jagran.com that the hike in Dearness Allowance is in line with the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. By the way, the DA figure is prepared by looking at the AICPI. Railway employees will also get arrears of Dearness Allowance.
How much will increase
- Level 1 Basic pay = 18000 रुपए
- 3% DA Hike = Rs 540 per month
- Yearly hike in DA = Rs 6480 per annum
(The salary of a cabinet secretary level officer will increase by Rs 7500 per month. Their basic salary is the highest at Rs 2.5 lakh.)
Earlier, the Union Cabinet had announced 78 days bonus for railway employees. Railway employees’ bonus amounted to Rs 17,950. This 78 days Productivity Linked Bonus is for non-gazetted employees.
