The Nitish Kumar government of Bihar has increased dearness allowance by 12% for fifth pay scale and 7% dearness allowance for sixth pay scale. This is applicable from 1 July 2021. Will happen. This proposal has been approved in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. After this increase, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees.

In fact, 22 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday. In this, there has been an increase of 12% in the dearness allowance of the employees of the fifth pay scale. At the same time, 7% more dearness allowance will be given to the employees and pensioners of the sixth pay scale. Everyone will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance with effect from July 1, 2021.

According to the 6th Central Pay Commission, government servants, pensioners / family pensioners of the state government receiving unrevised pay scale / pension, with effect from 1-7-2021, instead of 189 percent dearness allowance has been approved. . According to the same fifth central salary, 368 percent dearness allowance has been changed instead of 356 percent. This will be applicable from July 1, 2021.

Apart from this, 50 thousand will be given to the guest teachers of the state. Those serving as guest teachers in engineering and polytechnic colleges will now get a maximum honorarium of 50 thousand per month. Till now, they used to get 35 thousand honorarium. The number of such teachers will be around 500 in the state. At the same time, guest technical assistants and workshop instructors will get 25 thousand honorarium.
