Benefit for those with 5th pay commission

In the calculation of dearness allowance, expert Harishankar Tiwari said that the benefit of this increase will be given to those employees getting salary under the 5th Pay Commission, who have not taken the benefit of the merger of 50% of DA with basic pay. The DA payable to these CPSEs employees has been increased to 418 per cent from the existing rate of 406%. This increase has also been considered effective from 1 July 2021. According to Harishankar Tiwari, there are many such CPSEs under the central government, where the pay scale is different.

2 to 3 percent increase expected in January

According to Harishankar Tiwari, the employees coming under the 7th Pay Commission can get the gift of 2 to 3 percent DA hike in January 2022. This rate will be fixed only after the latest data of AICPI IW comes out on 31 January 2022.
