In such a situation, HDFC Bank of the private sector has come up with a new way to protect customers from financial fraud. The bank is going to organize more than 2,000 workshops in the next four months to spread awareness. The bank has given this information to its customers by tweeting.

The bank said in a statement that in this campaign, bank customers will be told how to avoid financial fraud. Especially young customers will be alerted about financial fraud. The youth of schools and colleges will also be included in this.

Shashidhar Jagadeesan, Managing Director and CEO, HDFC Bank said, “Digitalization has provided immense facilities to the bank customers. But with this the risks of cyber fraud have also increased. Fraudsters are constantly trying to implicate simple customers. In this campaign of the bank, the second edition was started by NITI Aayog Special Secretary K. Rajeshwar Rao has done it. National Cyber ​​Security co-ordinator Lt Gen Rajesh Pant was also present on this occasion.

Bank will alert customers

According to the information given by the bank, ‘For not sharing card details, CVV, expiry date, OTP, Netbanking / mobile banking log ID and password etc. on phone, SMS, E-mail and social media, people will not share their You can keep money safe. In this campaign, people will be given detailed information about it.

  • HDFC Bank or any other bank does not ask you for OTP, NetBanking/MobileBanking Password, Customer ID, UPI PIN for your EMI payment.
  • Do not share any of your personal details with any person on your registered phone number, phone, SMS, E-mail.
  • Do not share your bank PIN, passwords, bank details with anyone by mistake.
  • Be sure to inform your bank while changing your address, contact number or e-mail ID.
  • If any suspicious transaction is noticed in your account or card, a representative of HDFC Bank will call you.
