After the increase in the repo rate by the Reserve Bank of India, almost all the banks have increased the interest rates on FD. HDFC Bank has increased the rates today itself. If you want to put your money to work, then first you should check the interest rates of all the banks.


  1. SBI: From 180 days to 210 days increased by 0.15 percent from 4.40 percent to 4.55 percent. The interest on FDs of one to two years has also been increased by 0.15 percent to 5.45 percent.
  2. HDFC: The interest on FDs of one to two years increased by 0.15 percent to 5.50 percent. The interest on FDs of three to five years increased by 0.40 percent to 6.10 percent.
  3. Kotak Mahindra Bank: Interest rate increased by 0.15 per cent to 5.75 per cent on FDs from 365 days to 389 days. From 390 days to three years FD has been increased by 0.15 percent to 5.90 percent.
  4. PNB: Interest on one-year FD increased by 0.20 per cent to 5.50 per cent. Interest is being offered by 0.15 percent to 5.5 percent on FDs of one to two years. On FDs of two to three years, 0.10 percent increased to 5.60 percent interest is being offered.
  5. Canara Bank: Interest increased by 0.15 percent to 4.65 percent on FDs from 180 days to 269 days. Interest on FDs from 270 days to one year increased by 0.10 percent to 4.65 percent. The interest on one year FD increased by 0.20 percent to 5.50 percent. On FDs of one to two years, it has been increased by 0.15 percent to 5.55 percent.
  6. IndusInd Bank: 0.75 per cent up to 3.50 per cent on 7 to 14 day FDs, 0.50 per cent up to 3.50 per cent on 15-day to 30-day FDs, 0.50 per cent up to 4 per cent on 31 to 45-day FDs, 46 to 60 days on FDs It has been increased by 0.35 percent to 4 percent, on five-year FD has been increased by 0.25 percent to 6.75 percent.
