Bank of Baroda issued an official statement stating that the Reserve Bank of India issued a circular on April 22, 2025, directing the launch of a special ‘.bank.in’ internet domain for Indian banks. Following the Reserve Bank of India’s guidelines, the bank has changed its domain.

According to the report, Bank of Baroda has now changed the name of its website from www.bankofbaroda.in to https://bankofbaroda.bank.in. The purpose of the domain change is to reduce cybersecurity risks, prevent frauds like phishing, and increase customer confidence. The Reserve Bank of India has given all banks until October 31, 2025, to shift their net banking websites to the “.bank.in” domain.

According to the news published in Financial Express, following this guideline of RBI, Bank of Baroda has now shifted its old website www.bankofbaroda.in to a new and more secure domain.
Following this change, customers have been advised to use the new address,
https://bankofbaroda.bank.in, for any Bank of Baroda-related services or information. All bank branches and offices have also been instructed to inform customers of this change and guide them on using the new domain.
