August 12 – Kanpur and Lucknow (Occasion of Rakshabandhan)
August 13 – Patriot Day in Imphal and second Saturday in other parts
14 August – Sunday
15 August – Independence Day
16 August – Parsi New Year in Belapur, Mumbai and Nagpur
August 17 – Open for normal business
August 18 – On the occasion of Janmashtami Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Kanpur and Lucknow
August 19 – Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gangtok, Jaipur, Jammu, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla (Janmashtami)
