According to media reports, this announcement for the central employees will be made in the meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
DA will be 38%
After this DA hike, the dearness allowance of central employees will increase to 38 percent. This increase will be considered effective from 1 July 2022. Let us tell you that the central employees had been demanding DA Hike for a long time. Central employees will also get arrears of two months. These arrears will be for the months of July and August.
Salary will increase so much
According to the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary of central employees is Rs 18,000 and the maximum basic salary is Rs 56,900. According to 38 percent DA hike, the total increase in annual DA on basic salary of Rs 18,000 will be Rs 6840. 720 will increase in a month. At the maximum basic salary bracket of Rs 56,900, the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 27,312. At the same time, a total of Rs 2276 will increase in the month.
