New Delhi: 7th pay commission: Central employees are going to get a lot of good news in the new year. It is going to rain gifts on the employees on New Year. It is being claimed in the media reports that the government is preparing to take a big decision regarding the fitment factor of the employees. At the same time, it is expected in the reports that the arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA) may also be paid to the employees.

There may be an increase in the fitment factor,
the government may increase the fitment factor in 2023. If media reports are to be believed, several rounds of talks have taken place between the government and the concerned departments. An announcement is expected to be made on this soon. However, keep in mind that no official announcement has been made by the government in this regard yet.

The fitment factor plays an important role in deciding the salary of the employees. The fitment factor of the employees is 2.57, but the employees are demanding to increase it to 3.68. If the central government increases the fitment factor, then there will be a tremendous increase in the minimum salary of the employees.

Minimum salary will be 26 thousand rupees
In fact, earlier in 2016, when the fitment factor was increased, the minimum salary of the employees had increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 18,000. Now if the government increases the fitment factor again, then their minimum salary will increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000.

Dearness allowance stuck for 18 months
At the same time, 18 months’ dearness allowance of central employees was stopped during the Corona epidemic. Dearness allowance is due from January 2020 to June 2021. The employees are constantly demanding its release. According to media reports, the employees may get it.

Earlier in September 2022, 4 percent DA of the employees was increased. At present, dearness allowance is being given to central employees at the rate of 38 per cent.
