A 25-year-old married woman, Kalpana, was shot in the stomach inside a club on MG Road, Gurugram, after allegedly rejecting a persistent marriage proposal. The Attack: Refusal Leads to Violence
The victim, a resident of Najafgarh (Delhi) who worked at the Gurugram club, was approached by the prime accused, Tushar (alias Jonty), around 1:00 AM. Despite being aware of her marital status, Tushar reportedly proposed marriage once again. Upon her refusal, Tushar allegedly pulled out a pistol and shot her at point-blank range before fleeing the scene with his accomplice.
