Online video streaming platform Netflix is ​​going to bring a new plan of Rs 349 for Indian users, which is still under testing. The name of this plan will be Mobile Plus, within which the user will have to recharge Rs 349 every month.

This new plan will be able to watch HD videos and at the same time users will get the opportunity to watch web series, movies and documentaries on tablets, laptops and computers in addition to mobiles. But Netflix does not have access to TV within this plan.

How different from the basic mobile plan? 

Last year, Netflix launched a Rs 199 mobile plan in India, which was well received by Indian users. Like the old mobile plan, the new plan will also work on a single device but the Rs 199 mobile plan does not have HT video and its access is limited to smart phones only.

But HD plans can be viewed in this plan called Mobile Plus and it has computer access which includes Mac, PC and Chromebook. Apart from this, the basic plan of Netflix running on every platform is Rs 499, in this you can also enjoy online movies and webseries on smart TV.

There have been many online video streaming platforms in India which are also very cheap compared to Netflix. Platforms like Amazon Prime, Disney + Hotstar, Zee 5 and Voot are much cheaper than Netflix and are proving to be affordable for Indian users as well. Netflix is ​​bringing such smart phone friendly and cheap plans to compete with them.
