New Delhi. Soon you are going to get rid of the hassle of keeping important documents like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID in your purse or pocket. Now you will be able to download important documents like your Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID on your WhatsApp itself. Keeping in mind the convenience of the people, the Ministry of Electronics and IT has taken an important decision related to this.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the people, the Ministry of Electronics and IT has announced that people will now be able to access the MyGov help desk on WhatsApp through DigiLocker. After the introduction of this facility, people will get rid of the hassle of keeping physical copies of other important documents including PAN card, driving license.
The government has given great relief to the people by providing the facility of MyGov helpdesk on WhatsApp. People will now get many facilities sitting at home through DigiLocker services through MyGov Helpdesk. In this, other facilities including creating and authenticating people’s DigiLocker account, downloading documents like PAN card, driving license, vehicle registration certificate and other facilities will be given on WhatsApp.
Which documents can I keep?
- You can use MyGov helpdesk on WhatsApp to keep important documents like PAN card, driving license, 10th class certificate, 12th certificate, RC, insurance policy safe.
- You can download your documents like this
- To download your documents on WhatsApp, first you have to send Namaste or Hi or Digilocker to the number +91 9013151515.
- After this you will be asked whether to access DigiLocker account or Cowin service
- On selecting DigiLocker, you will be asked whether there is an account or not.
- If you already have an account on DigiLocker, then enter your Aadhaar number.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter it.
- Now all the documents that you have already uploaded, you can download them from here.
