But you do not need to worry because you can make a duplicate voter card.

You do not need to go anywhere to get a duplicate voter card. Election Commission of India has now started the process of online application for duplicate voter ID card in all states and union territories.

Make duplicate voter ID in this way.

• To get a duplicate voter ID, one has to go to the website of the Chief Electoral Officer of the state and download form EPIC-002.
• Now the form has to be filled correctly and all the documents have to be attached along with it.
• In the form, you will also have to give the reason for making a duplicate voter card and if the voter card has been stolen, you will also have to attach a copy of the FIR.
• After doing everything, submit the form to your local election officer. You will be given a reference number.
• Through this number you can check your application by visiting the website of the State Election Office.
• After submitting the form it will be verified. After verification you will be informed and after that you can go to the local election officer and get it.

You can also apply offline

For this, you will have to go to the election officer’s office with the necessary documents and apply. Then you will have to take a form to get another ID card made. In this, name, address and old voter ID card number will also have to be entered. The documents asked for in the form will have to be submitted here. After verification of your documents, you will be issued another ID card.
