Integral Coach Factory (ICF) is the largest railway passenger coach maker in the world. According to the report, a top official said that ICF will soon start Vande Bharat train rake for Jammu and Kashmir. After hoisting the tricolor on the occasion of 75th Republic Day, General Manager B.G. Mallya addressed the employees. He said, ‘ICF currently has two big projects. The first is the Vande Bharat Metro project which will be a completely air conditioned inter-city train service. ICF is planning to prepare the first prototype of Vande Metro by March this year.

Mallya said that Amrit Bharat Push-Pull Train was started in October last year in collaboration with CLW (Chittaranjan Locomotive Works). Which is no less than a boon for the common people in terms of travel. This train provides comparatively better facilities to the passengers. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off 2 Amrit Bharat trains last month. Train No. 15557 Amrit Bharat Express departs from Darbhanga every Monday and Thursday at 3 pm from January 1. This train reaches Ayodhya at 2:30 pm, Lucknow at 5:05 am on Tuesday, via Kanpur at 7:05 am and reaches Anand Vihar at 12:35 pm. Similarly, Train No. 15558 Vande Bharat Express leaves Anand Vihar at 3:10 pm every Tuesday and Friday from January 2, reaching Kanpur at 8:20 pm, Lucknow at 10:10 pm, via Ayodhya at 1:10 pm. Reaches Darbhanga at 11:50 am.
