Actually this train collided with a herd of animals near Vatva and Maninagar stations. This train was coming from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. The front part of the Vande Bharat Express train broke during the accident.

The train had to stop for 20 minutes

According to Ahmedabad Railway PRO Jitendra Jayant, this accident happened around 11.15 am. The train had to stop for 20 minutes after the accident. At present, the train has been repaired and dispatched. This Vande Bharat train was flagged off on 30 September. This train can reach a speed of 180 to 200 km/h.

India’s third Vande Bharat train

This is the third Vande Bharat train in the country. Earlier Vande Bharat trains are running between New Delhi and Varanasi and New Delhi and Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This train goes from Gandhinagar to Mumbai via Ahmedabad and then comes back to Gandhinagar via this route.

Preparation to run 400 more Vande Bharat trains

Railway Board is preparing to run 400 cm high speed Vande Bharat trains across the country. Let us tell you that the Vande Bharat train is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These include GPS based information systems, CCTV cameras, vacuum based bio toilets, automatic sliding doors and four emergency push buttons in each coach.

The new Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30 September. He also traveled in it from Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad. There will be bacteria free air conditioning in every coach of this train. Each coach has four lights for emergency situations. At the same time, there is also a facility for communication between the locopilot and the passengers.

This is the plan of the government

The Central Government has decided to manufacture about 1600 coaches of Vande Bharat Express trains at Marathwada Rail Coach Factory. Each of these coaches will cost between Rs 8 crore and Rs 9 crore. Due to this, necessary changes have started in the factory.
