Although you can make upi payment very easily through platforms like Google Pay, PhonePe, but you are not able to take advantage of them if there is no internet. If there is no internet service, you can take advantage of the facility of USSD. For this you have to use *99# code. Through this code you can send money through upi service without internet. It can prove to be very useful for you in any emergency.
Follow steps
1. You have to dial *99# code from your smartphone.
2. Now you will see some options in the popup menu. In this, you will see the option of send money on the first number. You select it.
3. Now type the number of the person you want to pay and select the send money option.
4. Now enter the number associated with your upi and click on send money.
5. Type the amount you want to send.
6. Mention the reason for the payment in the popup such as rent, loan, shopping etc.

If you want to take advantage of this service of USSD without internet, then it is very important for your number to be registered with UPI. Dial *99# from the same number which is linked to your bank account.
