UIDAI said in its tweet, “Now download the new version of the mAadhaar app to take advantage of the new and updated service.” UIDAI said that you uninstall any version already installed. On the new version, Aadhaar card holders can take advantage of more than 35 services.

This includes downloading of Aadhaar, offline e-KYC download, showing or scanning QR code, ordering for re-print, address update, verification of Aadhaar, verification of mail or email, obtaining UID or EID and through address validation letter. Services like sending requests are included.

If you want to take advantage of these services of Aadhaar on mobile, then you have to download mAadhaar App on your smartphone. This add-on is available for both Android and iOS users. The biggest advantage of this app is that you will always have a soft copy of Aadhaar with you. You do not need to carry a hard copy of Aadhaar with you. m-Aadhaar app is available in 12 different languages ​​of the country. Apart from English and Hindi, m-Aadhaar app is also available in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
