UGC’s response to final year exams, so many universities across the country are ready

  • The UGC (University Grants Commission) gave information that it is ready to conduct 51 central universities examinations across the country.
  • According to the UGC Guidelines for University Exams 2020, more than 600 universities across the country agreed to conduct the university exams before September 30.
  • Till now, final year exams have been conducted in 209 universities. The Supreme Court will hear the case on August 14.




new Delhi. If the final year students’ examinations are not conducted by universities and colleges across the country, then the University Grants Commission will not recognize their degrees. In view of this decision of the Commission, so far more than 600 universities across the country have agreed to conduct final year students examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate students. At the same time, after the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court on this matter on Monday, now it will be discussed on the 14th.



 

According to the latest information, so far a total of 818 universities across the country have sent replies to the UGC regarding the conduct of final year examinations. At the same time, 209 universities informed the UGC that they have successfully conducted the final year examinations in their institutions as per the Commission’s guidelines.

According to University Grants Commission, there are now 394 different universities which are preparing to conduct these exams by online, offline and mixed resources in August and September. Not only this, almost all the central universities across the country have also agreed to conduct the post-graduate final year examinations in them.

 

According to the UGC, 51 central universities have received positive feedback on the UGC Guidelines for University Exams 2020, which have been re-scheduled for conducting the examination on July 6.



 

Many of these central universities have also completed the final year and final semester online examinations, while the remaining central universities have assured that they will get the examinations done before September 30. ”




Apart from this, it was also revealed that in the examination conducted by the university, if any student of the terminal-semester-final year BA is unable to appear due to any reason, then the student concerned should take such courses and For question papers one can be given the chance to appear in special examinations.
