TCS salary hike: TCS Rolls Out 4.5%–7% Salary Increase For Employees, check all details

TCS salary hike: The country’s largest IT service company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has given good news to its employees. The company has increased the salary of a large number of employees.

According to the information, this time the employees have been given an increment of 4.5% to 7%. Letters have been started sending to the employees from late Monday night and the new salary will be implemented from September. This report was given by Moneycontrol.

For the past few months, different news was coming out about TCS. Initially, the company had talked about postponing the salary hike citing bad market conditions. After this, suddenly the company decided to lay off about 2% of the employees, which was equal to about 12,000 employees. In such an environment, the announcement of salary hike to 80% of the employees has given relief to the people.

More than 10% for best performers

According to media reports, most of the employees who have received this hike are lower and mid-level employees. At the same time, employees whose performance has been excellent have been given an increment of more than 10%. This step is being considered important for the company in terms of retaining employees and strengthening their morale.

In fact, in the June quarter results, the company’s attrition rate i.e. the number of employees leaving the job had reached 13.8%. In such a situation, salary hike can prove to be a step to motivate employees to stay associated with the company.
