School Holiday: The state government has once again made a big change in the date of holidays. Actually, the state government has taken a big decision regarding Diwali holiday in the state schools. Earlier this holiday was from 16 to 27 October. Which has now been changed.
The order in this regard has been issued by the Education Department on Wednesday evening. Under the new order issued by the Rajasthan Education Department, the new date of holidays has been fixed from October 13 to October 24. This change has been made on the instructions of Education Minister Madan Dilawar.
Total 14 days long holiday
Director of Secondary Education, Sitaram Jat said that the total duration of holidays is the same as before. Earlier also there was a holiday of 12 days. There will still be a holiday of 12 days. However, this change will prove to be even more beneficial for the students.
After October 11, schools will open directly on October 25. October 12 is Sunday and there will be holidays from October 13 to 24. In this way, students will get a total long holiday of 14 days.
Impact on mid term test too
Due to these holidays, its effect will be seen on the mid-term test as well. Earlier the exam was to be held from 13 to 15 October. Now it is likely that this test will be conducted between 25 to 28 October.
When will diwali be celebrated
Let us tell you that this year Diwali will be celebrated on 20 October 2025 i.e. Monday. As per Kartik Amavasya Tithi, Amavasya will be from 20 October afternoon to 21 October evening, hence Diwali will be celebrated on 20 October.
