The counting of votes for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections will be held on November 14. Due to security and administrative reasons, all government and private schools in the capital Patna will remain closed on this day.
Patna District Magistrate (DM) and Returning Officer Thyagarajan has issued an order stating that classes will remain suspended in all schools in the district on November 14 to ensure smooth conduct of the counting process and maintain security.
AN College in Patna has been designated as the counting centre. Therefore, to ensure that there is no inconvenience during the counting process, all schools in Patna have been instructed to remain closed. The district administration has also directed that public transport will be banned around the counting centres.
