State Bank of India (SBI) has given good news to the customers. SBI has said that customers can save more by availing 80D deduction without paying health insurance premium of their parents while filing Income Tax Return. For this, customers just have to login with the Yono app. With this, he will be able to file his Income Tax Return for free.
Section 80D of the Income Act provides for an increased deduction of Rs 50,000 if your parents are senior citizens. A resident of the age of 60 years or more in India at any time during the previous year is considered a senior citizen.
SBI customers who wish to file ITR through the YONO app should note that they must carry certain documents while doing so. Here is the complete list..

The Income Tax Department has asked all taxpayers to view Form 26AS from the e-filing portal to take advantage of pre-filing of ITR to verify the correctness of TDS and tax payment. Taxpayers who have not yet filed their Income Tax Return for AY 2021-22 should file their return at the earliest.
