SBI Customers Alert: SBI has put its customers on high alert. State Bank of India has warned its customers not to fall in the trap of fraudsters regarding certain messages coming to the customers.

Why do banking frauds happen?

State Bank of India (SBI) has released a video from its Twitter account. It has been told in this video that SBI never asks you to share your bank details, ATM and UPI PIN. So if you come across messages asking for ATM or UPI PIN, or asking to click on a link, then ignore it. Let us tell you, some cyber thugs are asking for details by messaging customers in the name of SBI.

Customer Beware
SBI does not ask its customer for account number, debit card or credit card details.
Do not share your Internet Banking and OTP numbers with anyone.
Do not click on any kind of link in mobile phone or message.

Identify the right message

If you are getting such messages, then first read these messages carefully. Then in case of fake messages, customers can lodge a complaint on the cybercrime website https://cybercrime.gov.in .
