Meeting with employees association

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took this decision after talking to the representatives in a meeting with the representatives of the Employees Association. The Chief Minister announced that now the employees of the state will get the benefit of the increased salary. In this meeting, time was given till June 30 of this year to find solutions on other issues with the employees.

When will the employees get the money

Let us tell you that this change will be effective from July 1, 2018, while the monetary benefits related to it will be paid from April 1, 2020. At the same time, with the increased salary, the new salary will be available from January 1, 2022. That is, there is going to be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. According to the statement issued by the government, this decision will put an additional financial burden of Rs 10,247 crore on the exchequer annually.

Outstanding DA will also be paid

After this meeting, the Chief Minister told the Employee Associations that the outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) would be paid along with the January salary. Along with this, provident fund, insurance, leave encashment and other pending payments will be fully cleared by April. That is, in this meeting, the government solved many problems related to the salary of the employees of the state.
