More than 90,000 crore rupees are being spent on the expansion of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. In June itself, the scheme was expanded and extended to November in view of the rising outbreak of Corona epidemic. In March during the epidemic, the government announced the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana as part of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package.
Ration is being distributed under this. 74.3 crore people were benefited under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in April. In addition, 74.75 crore people were covered under it in May. 64.72 crore people were covered under the scheme in June.
