In Kanpur district, the municipal teachers and teachers of the city area will now also see the work of distribution of ration. Antyodaya card holders will have to do the work of distribution of food grains under their supervision. Due to less number of teachers in the city area, many schools are facing lock down.





During the distribution of food grains in the city area, teachers and teachers will have to be present as nodal officers during the distribution of food grains. They have to monitor whether the fixed food grains are being provided to the respective card holder or not. Additional District Magistrate (NAA) Basant Agrawal has sent letters to the Block Education Officers and sent the names of teachers and teachers whose duty has been imposed.





Regular distribution cycle in October and November, 35 kg food grains (20 kg wheat and 15 kg rice) per card to Antyodaya card holders and 05 kg food grains (03 kg wheat and 02 kg rice) per unit to eligible household card holders, fixed price wheat 02 per kg and rice 03 per kg to be distributed. Similarly, information has been given in the context of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.
