According to reports, Food Minister Imran Hussain said that the ration card holders in Delhi whose biometrics are not matched to get free ration, can now nominate another person to take it on their behalf. can. It should be ensured that no person is deprived of ration due to biometric lapses.

Elderly and sick people will benefit greatly from this facility. Families where all the people are elderly or ill can nominate another person to bring their ration. Similarly, people with disabilities and working class will also get the benefit of this facility. Because while working, the thumb lines of many laborers get erased. According to media reports, Imran Hussain instructed in the review meeting regarding ration cards that there should be no delay in issuing ration cards. Officials told them that the central government has set a target of about 72.78 lakh ration beneficiaries in Delhi under the National Food Security Act 2013.
