Railways Alert! 11 special trains will be canceled from till November 24, know the reason & trains details

Railways News From November 16 to 24, there will be non-interlocking of railway lines. During this time the operation of trains will be affected. In which 11 special trains including Gorakhpur-Delhi will remain cancelled. Apart from this, many trains will run by changing the route. Gorakhpur-Mailani special will run from Gomtinagar only.



Work related to doubling is going on on Sitapur-Tappa Khajuria-Parsendi section of North Eastern Railway Lucknow Division. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, there will be non-interlocking of railway lines from November 16 to 24. During this time the operation of trains will be affected. In which 11 special trains including Gorakhpur-Delhi will remain cancelled. Apart from this, many trains will run by changing the route. Gorakhpur-Mailani special will run from Gomtinagar only.

  • 05195 Gorakhpur – Delhi Special running on 21 November.
  • 05196 Delhi-Gorakhpur Special running on 22 November.
  • 05091 Gonda-Sitapur Unreserved Special on 16th November.
  • 05091/05092 Gonda-Sitapur-Gonda from 17th to 24th November.
  • 05086/05085 Lucknow-Mailani-Lucknow from 20 to 24 November.
  • 05088/05087 Lucknow-Mailani-Lucknow from 20 to 24 November.
  • 05490/05489 Lucknow-Mailani-Lucknow from 20 to 24 November.

Train stopping on the way

  • 05009 Gorakhpur-Mailani running from 20th to 24th November will stop at Gomtinagar only.
  • From 21st to 25th November 05010 Mailani-Gorakhpur Special will run from Gomtinagar only.
  • Dakshin Bharat Darshan Yatra train will run from Gorakhpur on December 10

There is relief news for the people of Purvanchal who wish to visit the famous temples and tourist places of South India. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced to run Dakshin Bharat Darshan Yatra train from Gorakhpur Junction on December 10. This train will return on 22nd December after completing 12 nights and 13 days journey.

According to Ajit Kumar Sinha, Chief Regional Manager, IRCTC, the fare per person for the tour package is fixed at Rs 12285. By Train Rameshwaram (Ramanatha Swamy Temple), Madurai (Meenakshi Temple) Kovalam Beach, Thiruvananthapuram (Padmanabham Temple) Kanyakumari, Tiruchurapalli (Ranganath Swamy Temple), Sri Padmavati Temple in Tirupati, Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, ISKCON Temple, Sri Kalahasti Temple and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga (Kurnool Town) journey will be done.

Apart from Gorakhpur, seating facility will be available in Deoria Sadar, Belthara Road, Mau, Varanasi, Jaunpur City, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur and Jhansi in the train. Breakfast and lunch and dinner will be vegetarian. There will be arrangement for accommodation in Dharamshalas. Local journeys will be completed by buses. The booking of tickets has started.
