Railway Station Entry Rule: Railways implemented new rules for Delhi Railway Station entry, know the rules

There is a lot of crowd in trains during the festive season. Especially in unreserved coaches, a lot more passengers travel than the prescribed amount. To reduce the extra crowd in trains, the second phase of the trial is going to start soon at New Delhi Railway Station.

In this, only those passengers will be allowed entry at the station who have tickets. This trial will be for about 1 month. Through this trial, the railways will know how much crowd there is at the station. This step of the railways will tell what steps will have to be taken to control the crowd at the stations during festivals. Keeping in mind the accident that happened at New Delhi Railway Station a few months ago, how can the crowd be reduced? All these steps are being taken keeping that in mind.

Under this, a trial was also conducted at New Delhi Railway Station, under which only 150 tickets were issued for each unreserved coach. Under this, after issuing 150 tickets in each general coach, no other tickets were issued. This trial was conducted for about 2 months.

It is worth noting that there is no rule for issuing unreserved tickets in general coaches. This is why general tickets are sold in large numbers. At the same time, you should know that a general coach has a total of 80 seats. Many times more than 300 passengers travel in a general coach.

Under this trial, only 150 seats will be issued for each general coach from the starting station of the train. Whereas, at intermediate stations, only 20% unreserved tickets will be issued depending on the capacity of the coach.

According to media reports, the software being used in this trial will count the tickets of those trains which will run in the next three hours. Understand it this way, if 4 trains will run from New Delhi to Lucknow in the next three hours and each train has 4 general coaches, then the system will issue 2400 tickets for a total of 16 coaches. After this, the issuance of tickets will stop.
