Railway Recruitment 2023 Notification: Western Central Railway has invited applications from candidates for recruitment to Group C and Group D posts. Online application process has started, interested candidates should apply by visiting the official website.
New Delhi:RRC West Central Railway Recruitment 2023: There is good news for the candidates who want a job in Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway (WRC) has invited applications from candidates for recruitment to Group C and Group D posts. These recruitments will be done under Scouts and Guides Quota in West Central Railway for 2023-24.
Railways has started the online application process for this recruitment. Interested candidates can apply online for these posts till 6 November 2023. To apply online, candidates should visit the official website of Indian Railways wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. Group C recruitment will be done in Western Central Railway while Group D posts will be done in Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota divisions. Candidates who want to apply for both the levels i.e. Level 1 and Level 2 will have to fill separate application forms. Anyone can apply for this.

Scouts and Guides Qualification
Holder of any section of Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB). Along with this, one should be an active member of the Scouts organization for the last 5 years. No person should be a member of two state associations at the same time. Must have participated in two programs at National level or All India Railway level. See notification for more information.
Educational qualification
For Group C post, one must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination with 50 percent marks from a recognized board. There is no requirement of 50 percent marks for SC, ST, ex-servicemen and disabled category candidates. Whereas for appointment in Clerk cum Typist category, the candidate should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English. For Former Group D posts, candidates must have passed class 10th examination from a recognized board of school education along with ITI or equivalent.
Age limit
For this Railway recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate for Level 2 should be 18 years and maximum 23 years. Whereas for Level 2, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum 33 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of January 1, 2024.
Will get salary
For Group C (Level-2) posts, candidates will be given Level-2 (7th CPC) (Pay Matrix Rs 19900 to 63200)
For former Group D (Level-1) posts, candidates will be given Level-1 (7th CPC) (Pay Matrix Rs 18000 to 56900) )
