Railway Minister Piyush Goyal’s big statement has come up amidst the discussion of Privatization of Trains. He said that the railway is not being privatized. Private train will not have any effect on the current operation nor will it affect the fare.

new Delhi. There was a debate around the privatization of trains across the country. But in the meantime, a statement from the Ministry of Railways has come out. In this statement it is clearly said that the railway is not being privatized in any way. All the services of presently running Railways will run as they were running. Explain that the Railway Ministry had given an invitation to private parties to run passenger trains at 109 routes. In which private parties had to invest 30 thousand crores. Since then, discussions were started about the privatization of trains.



Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted, ‘Railway is not being privatized in any way. All the services of the railway currently running will run in the same way. 151 additional modern trains will be run on 109 routes with private participation. Which will not have any effect on the railway trains, but the arrival of trains will create employment.

There will be no impact on the existing trains and tickets,
let us tell you that the railway has opened the doors for private party to operate passenger train service. Private company trains will now be able to operate on 109 destination route. There is a possibility of investment of 30 thousand crores. For the first time, Indian Railways cleared the way for private investment for passenger train operations.



All these trains will have at least 16 coaches. The maximum speed of all these trains is 160 km / h. Private trains will be run on routes where demand is currently more than supply. This will not affect the current trains and tickets. The objective of running the modern train is to improve the infrastructure by modern technology.



Private companies will decide the fare of the train
