PPF-NSC and other post office schemes: There is good news for post office savings account customers, the Department of Posts has recently unveiled its new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) facility to make the lives of the customers easier.
The new feature is available through your mobile phone. With this new IVR service, you can now get information like interest earned on applicable investments, ATM card blocking facility, issuance of new cards and information related to various postal savings products.
According to the circular issued by the department, customers with small savings schemes like PPF, NSC etc. can use the IVR facility by dialing India Post’s toll-free number 18002666868. Customers should call from their registered phone number. Avail the service.
