Post office scheme is one such investment where a large number of people are investing in them. The main reason for this is better returns with security. According to the recent update of India Post, cash withdrawal can be done only four times in a month from the post office.

After this, you will have to pay 0.05 percent fee on each transaction. Recently, a notice was issued by the government asking for a reduction in the interest rate, but it was withdrawn the very next day.




Rules for depositing and withdrawing money at the post office

1- According to the recent update, the villagers of the post office can withdraw 20 thousand rupees from the postal service branch. Earlier this limit was only up to 5 thousand rupees.

2- Branch post mast will no longer be able to approve cash deposits of more than 50 thousand. Now schemes like Public Provident Fund, Senior Citizen Saving Scheme, Kisan Vikas Patra, or check with withdrawal.

3- In the post office, you will have to keep at least 100 rupees, if you do not do this, then there will be a deduction of 100 rupees in the name of maintenance.

4- If you withdraw four paisa from your saving account in a month, then there will be no charge on it. But after this you will have to pay 25 rupees or 0.50 percent of the withdrawn amount.

5- If you deposit up to 10 thousand rupees in your account, then you will not have to pay any charge. But the amount deposited on it will be charged at least 25 rupees.

6- There will be no charge for withdrawing up to 25 thousand rupees in a month from savings and cash account, but after that you will have to pay 25 rupees or 0.5 percent money.
