It has been written in the online form that the central government is giving pension up to Rs 1800 to the person who fills the form. The age limit to take advantage of the scheme has been kept 18-40 years. A link is given to apply. It is advised to fill the online form by clicking on this link. The government agency Press Information Bureau ( PIB ) has fact-checked this online form . PIB found in its fact check that this online form is completely fake and the government is not giving any such pension. The government says that under the PM Shramyogi Maandhan Yojana, pension is given only to the age group of 18-40 years.
Information about this fake online form has been given on the Twitter handle of PIB Fact Check. It is written in the tweet, on filling an online form, under the Pradhan Mantri Maandhan Yojana, the central government is giving 1800 rupees every month to the people between the age group of 18 to 40 years. This claim is false. This is a pension scheme. Beneficiaries will get pension only after the age of 60 years.
