The government has given information about this in the Parliament.

Under the PM-Kisan scheme, the Center transfers Rs 6,000 in three equal installments every year to farmers across the country. However, for those taking the benefit of this scheme, it is necessary to fulfill certain criteria, such as he should not be an income tax payer.

Agriculture Minister gave information in Parliament In a

reply to Parliament on Tuesday, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that Rs 2,992 crore is being recovered from 42.16 lakh ineligible farmers who are getting money under the PM-Kisan scheme.

In which state, how many farmers would be recovered from

the maximum number of such ineligible farmers who got PM-Kisan money, was in Assam. In Assam, 8.35 lakh ineligible farmers have taken advantage of this. After that 7.22 lakh farmers have taken benefit in Tamil Nadu, 5.62 lakh farmers in Punjab, 4.45 lakh farmers in Maharashtra, 2.65 lakh farmers in Uttar Pradesh and 2.36 lakh farmers in Gujarat.

How many crores will be recovered

Let the government recover Rs 554 crore from Assam, Rs 437 crore from Punjab, Rs 358 crore from Maharashtra, Rs 340 crore from Tamil Nadu, Rs 258 crore from UP and Rs 220 crore from Gujarat.
