PhonePe New Service: Good news for PhonePe users, PhonePe is going to start a new service for UPI payment, now you will be able to pay here too

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) plans to bring UPI International to more countries this year in collaboration with NPCI International Payments Limited. NPCI developed UPI.


If you use PhonePe then there is good news for you. In fact, PhonePe has launched a service that will allow Indian users to pay overseas merchants using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to travel abroad. According to the company, the service, called UPI International, supports merchant outlets in the UAE, Singapore, Mauritius, Nepal and Bhutan that have a local QR code.

What the company said: The company said that PhonePe users will be able to make payments in foreign currency directly from their Indian bank. This service is similar to what users do with international debit cards. PhonePe claims that it is the first Indian fintech app to launch the service.

Rahul Chari, CEO, PhonePe said, “UPI International is the first big step towards taking the UPI experience to the rest of the world. Will completely change the way Indians travel abroad to make payments at merchant outlets. The whole world needs to experience UPI.
