NPS News: The government has taken an important decision related to NPS, due to which you may face problem in depositing money in NPS account. Pension regulatory body PFRDA has said in a latest decision that now the contribution can not be deposited by credit card in the Tier-II account of NPS. PFRDA has banned credit card contributions with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by PFRDA on August 3, “The Authority has now decided that credit card payments can no longer be made in the Tier-II account of NPS. Under this, all PoPs (Points of Presence) will be paid immediately With effect, payment by credit card has been banned.

What is NPS Tier-II?

People opting for National Pension Scheme already have Tier-1 account. Tier-II account is at your will. If you can open Tier-II account.
