1. Delhi: CP Closed to Vehicles

If you’re planning to head to Connaught Place (CP), leave your car behind.

• The Lockdown: No vehicular traffic is allowed in the Inner, Middle, or Outer Circle of CP after 7:00 PM tonight.

• India Gate: C-Hexagon may be closed if pedestrian crowds become too large.

• Metro Update: Exit from Rajiv Chowk Metro Station will be restricted from 9:00 PM onwards.

• Security: 3,000 personnel and 50+ checkpoints are active, specifically targeting “stunt bikers” and drunk drivers.

Mumbai is the city that truly won’t sleep tonight, but the rules are strict.

• Extended Hours: Bars, pubs, and restaurants can stay open until 5:00 AM on Jan 1.

• The Catch: Owners must provide private security and ensure no intoxicated patron drives home.
