Yes, Indian Railways is planning to start another Vande Bharat Express train for Jharkhand soon. The new semi-high-speed train is being planned to run between Tatanagar and Puri. This train will improve regional connectivity and promote tourism. Tatanagar to Puri Vande Bharat Express will run via Cuttack. This train will cover the distance of 514 km in less than 8 hours. After the running of this train, passengers will get the option of fast and comfortable travel.
Stoppages and speed of the train
This train running between Tatanagar to Puri will stop at many major stations. These include Ghatshila, Jhargram, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road Junction. These stoppages will provide comfortable travel to the passengers. Tatanagar to Puri Vande Bharat Express has been designed for a speed of 160 km per hour. It will be the fastest train on this route, which will reduce the travel time considerably.
Coach and ticket price
The train will have a total of eight coaches, which will have two types of seats – Executive AC and AC Chair Car. The fare of AC Chair Car from Tatanagar to Puri will be around Rs 1500 and Executive AC fare will also be around Rs 2400. This fare will give passengers an opportunity to travel economically with modern facilities.
Train timings
Tata Nagar to Puri Vande Bharat Express will depart at around 6 am and reach Puri at 2:00 pm. On the return journey, the train will leave Puri at 2:30 pm and reach Tatanagar at 10:30 pm. This timetable will be convenient for the passengers. Tatanagar to Puri Vande Bharat Express will make travel between Jharkhand and Odisha easier.
