A relief news has come out for the drivers. The traffic police can no longer harass you by stopping you unnecessarily nor can they reduce your speed. Traffic police can no longer check your car unnecessarily. In fact, some time ago a circular has been issued to the traffic department in this regard. Accordingly, your car will no longer stop for no reason. Let’s know the latest updates.

Traffic police can no longer forcibly stop your car. As per the new rules, the traffic police will not check vehicles, especially where there are check blocks, they will only monitor the traffic and focus on the traffic moving normally. A car will stop only if it is making a difference to the speed of the traffic.

As the traffic on the roads is increasing, all the traffic police have been asked to give priority to monitoring the traffic movement along with stopping the checking of vehicles. The circular states that motorists who are violating traffic rules can be challaned by the traffic police under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

During the joint blockade of the traffic police and the local police, only the traffic police will take action against the traffic violations and not the vehicles. If these instructions are not strictly followed, the Senior Inspector of the concerned traffic post will be responsible.

In fact, it is often seen that the traffic police stop the vehicles somewhere on the basis of suspicion and start checking their shoes and the inside of the vehicle. This affects the traffic on that road. A senior traffic police official said that the traffic police neither check the shoes of vehicles nor stop them on the basis of suspicion. “Our personnel will continue to challenge the traffic offenses as before and stop the traffic violators.
