LPG Price in October 2020: On October 1, 2020, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi was ₹594. Previously, it was selling at the same rate on September 25. There was no change in the price.
LPG Price in October 2021: By October 6, 2021, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder had reached ₹899.50. The price increased by approximately ₹305 in a year. On September 1, 2021, it was ₹884.50. This means inflation hit during the festive season.
LPG Price in October 2022: After this, the price of domestic cylinder increased to ₹ 1053 in the year 2022. However, there was no change in the month of October this year.
LPG Price in October 2023: After rising to Rs 1103 in the year 2023, the price of LPG cylinder came down to Rs 903 on August 30. However, the rates of domestic cylinders remained unchanged in October this year as well.
LPG Price in October 2024: Domestic LPG cylinders became significantly cheaper in 2024. In Delhi, they cost ₹803. Cylinder rates remained unchanged in October this year.

Yogi government’s Diwali gift to 18.5 million women: The Yogi Adityanath government has decided to provide free gas cylinders (refills) to 18.5 million women in the state. Women will receive this gift before Diwali. Women covered under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will receive one cylinder free of charge from gas agencies.
Modi government gives Navratri gift to 25 lakh women: With the beginning of Navratri, the Modi government has announced to provide 25 lakh Prime Minister Ujjwala gas connections. Currently, there are 10 crore 35 lakh active Ujjwala cooking gas connections in the country. After the 25 lakh new Prime Minister Ujjwala cooking gas connections announced on the first day of Navratri, the number of Ujjwala gas connections will increase to 10 crore 60 lakh. The Petroleum Minister said that the government will spend Rs 2050 on every new gas connection.
