The runway will be closed overnight from 23 February to 11 July daily for repairs to the runway’s turning pad. This closure will be from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. If we take different days of the week from Lucknow airport, there are an average of 12 to 17 flights daily. Some passengers are complaining that tickets for night flights are still being booked. For example flight 6E 866 from Hyderabad to Lucknow at 12:20 pm is being booked on 27 February.
It is obvious that when the runway will be closed at night from February 23 itself, then how can anyone go by this flight. Similarly, the booking of flight number 6E 5391, which departs from Mumbai at 12:40 in the night, is open for 27 February.
Booking for flight 6E 338 arriving from Pune at 2:50 am is also going on.
