Key Examination Schedule

The recruitment process will move through a fast-tracked timeline over the coming months:

  • Registration & Fee Payment Portal: July 1 – July 21

  • Application Correction Window: July 31 – August 1

  • Preliminary Screening Round: Late August

  • Main Written Examination: Early October

  • Interviews & Document Verification: November / December

Structural Revisions to the Testing Pattern

Aspirants who have appeared for this examination in previous years will face a revamped selection framework this season. The board has introduced several key changes to how candidates will be evaluated:

Revised Evaluation Journey:
[Phase 1: Prelims] ──> [Phase 2: Expanded Mains] ──> [Phase 3: Behavioral Test] ──> [Phase 4: Interview]

The preliminary phase remains a qualifying speed-test comprising 100 questions across English, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. However, the Main examination has been noticeably overhauled. The objective segment now features 170 questions instead of 145, heavily tilting the score distribution toward Financial Awareness and Data Interpretation, while scaling back the point allocation for objective English.

Additionally, a mandatory behavioral profile test has been integrated directly after the Mains exam. While it does not carry passing marks, completing it is a strict prerequisite before advancing to the final face-to-face interview panel.

Core Eligibility Guidelines

To successfully clear the initial application filters, applicants must adhere to strict chronological cutoffs regarding their age and educational background:

  • Educational Threshold: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Those wrapping up their final semesters are eligible only if their final marksheets are officially published on or before the July 21 registration deadline.

  • Age Brackets: Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years old. Specifically, their date of birth must fall between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2006 (inclusive of both dates). Standard age relaxations remain active for reserved categories.

  • Required Paperwork: Application fees are set at ₹850 for general applicants and ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. For category reservations, OBC-NCL certificates must be dated April 1 or later, and EWS documentation must be valid for the current financial cycle.
