LPG Price 1st Oct 2025: New rate of LPG cylinder has been implemented from today 1st Oct 2025, check latest price

LPG Price, October 1: Common people are in for a shock during the festive season. Today, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, cylinder prices have become more expensive. Oil marketing companies have increased the price of a 19-kilogram cylinder by ₹15. However, the price of a 14-kilogram domestic cylinder remains unchanged.

Oil marketing companies have increased the price of a 19-kilogram cylinder by ₹15. However, the relief is that the price of a 14-kilogram domestic cylinder has remained unchanged. Price of 19 kg commercial cylinder

In Delhi, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will now be available for Rs 1595.50. Earlier it was available for Rs 1580. That means there has been an increase of Rs 15.50. In Kolkata, this cylinder will now be available for Rs 1700, which was available for Rs 1684 in September. There has been an increase of Rs 16 here. In Mumbai, it will be available for Rs 1547, earlier its price was Rs 1531.50. In Chennai, this cylinder has now become Rs 1754, which was available for Rs 1738 in September. Here too, there has been an increase of Rs 16.

There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

There has been no change in the price of a 14-kilogram domestic cylinder. In most cities across the country, the price of cooking gas remains in the range of ₹850 to ₹960. Here are the prices of 14-kilogram LPG cylinders in some major cities. Currently, a domestic LPG cylinder is available for ₹853 in Delhi, and ₹852.50 in Mumbai.

  • Mumbai: Rs 852.50
  • Lucknow: Rs 890.50
  • Ahmedabad: Rs 860
  • Hyderabad: Rs 905
  • Varanasi: Rs 916.50
  • Ghaziabad: Rs 850.50
  • Patna: Rs 951

While the prices of commercial cylinders have increased before the festival, the rates of domestic gas remain the same. This means that common customers have got relief. On the other hand, crores of women associated with the Ujjwala Yojana have also been given the gift of free cylinders and new gas connections by the government. In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has announced to give free LPG cylinders to 1.85 crore women of the state before Diwali. The central government has also announced to give 25 lakh new Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala connections on Navratri. This will increase the number of Ujjwala gas connections across the country to 10 crore 60 lakh.
