LIVE Protest Against Fuel Price Hike: Delhi Congress Chief seen on Tanga and activists drove bullock cart

New Delhi, Jagran Correspondent. Congress continues to protest in Delhi against the ever increasing increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Are the leaders and activists all demonstrating in different style? On the one hand, when the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Anil Kumar Chaudhary appeared on the tanga, the workers reached the bullock cart and protested.

  • Congress’s performance in Delhi-NCR continues against the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. The state Congress is protesting against the increase in oil prices in Delhi. When the state president Anil Chaudhary moved towards the Lt. Governor’s residence, the police took him into custody. He was going to give a memorandum to the Lt. Governor to the President.
  • Earlier on Monday morning, the members of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, who were protesting near Indraprastha College, have been taken into custody by the police and are being taken to the nearest police station after filling them in buses. 
  • It can be clearly seen in the pictures released by the news agency ANI that Congress workers have also clashed with Delhi Police during the protest. Explain that Section-144 is applicable in view of corona virus infection and no one is allowed to perform.



Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Anil Kumar Chaudhary, President of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee is also involved in protests against the irregular increase in petrol prices by the central government. The protest will also be against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party party government in Delhi, alleging that the increase in petrol and diesel prices has been continuously increasing with the Center raising excise duty and Delhi government increasing VAT.

At the same time, on Sunday, a protest was led by activists led by Lok Samaj Party (LOSP) National President Gauri Shankar Sharma Advocate against the increase in petrol and diesel prices. During this, Sharma said that the record-breaking increase in the prices of diesel and petrol in the time of crisis has broken the back of common people including farmers.



Gauri Shankar Sharma further said that the government should quickly take back the increased prices of petrol and diesel. During this time a large number of policemen of Khajuri police station reached and halted the protest. Also, some activists were taken into custody and taken to the police station. All were later released from the police station. Among them, the treasurer of the party, Mo. Shahnawaz, National President of Mazdoor Sabha, Naresh Kumar Sen, Vice President Harishankar Tiwari and others were present.
