What has been decided by the MP Government

According to Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, a group of ministers of the Madhya Pradesh government has given its approval on the decision to reduce the import duty on beer and wine. The decision to reduce import duty was taken in a meeting of ministers headed by Narottam Mishra. During the meeting, the import duty on beer has been reduced from Rs 30 to Rs 20 per bulk litre.

According to the statement of Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, various issues related to the product policy for 2022-23 were discussed during the meeting. The Group of Ministers has agreed to reduce the import duty on beer from Rs 30 to Rs 20 per bulk litre. Apart from this, the Group of Ministers has also approved the proposal to reduce the import duty on liquor from Rs 10 to Rs 5 per proof liter.
