Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released recruitment for a total of 841 posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE). The prelims exam for these recruitments will be held on 3 October 2025. After this the mains exam will be held on 8 November 2025.

There are a total of 841 posts in this recruitment. There are 81 posts for Assistant Engineer (AE). There are 410 posts for Assistant Administrative Officer (Specialist). There are 350 posts for Assistant Administrative Officer (Journalist).
LIC Recruitment 2025: What should be the qualification?
For these posts, you need a graduation degree from a recognized university, which is according to the post. If you are applying for AAO (Specialist), then you should have passed the final exam of ICAI or you should be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Your minimum age to apply should be 21 years. Your maximum age should not be more than 32 years. Age relaxation will be given to candidates of reserved category SC, ST, OBC, PwBD.
LIC Jobs Selection process: How will the selection be done?
In this recruitment, the selection will be done in three stages. The first stage is the prelims exam which will be objective type. The second stage is the mains exam which will be more detailed. The third and last stage is the interview in which your personality and knowledge will be checked.
How much fee will have to be paid?
If you belong to SC, ST or PwBD category, then you will have to pay Rs 85 along with GST and transaction charges. For all other categories, the application fee is Rs 700.
LIC Jobs Salary: How much salary will you get?
If you are selected for the job in LIC, then you will get a salary ranging from Rs 88,635 to Rs 1,26,000 per month. Apart from this, you will also get the benefit of other allowances like HRA, DA.
