If you are 30 years old and you invest in this scheme for the next 20 years, then you have to deposit Rs 10,959 in the first year. It will attract 4.5 percent tax.

At the same time, next year you will have to pay Rs 10,723. That is, you have to deposit 29 rupees daily. A total of Rs 2,14,696 will be deposited in 20 years and you will get Rs 3,97,000 at the time of maturity.
